Wanderer, Worshiper, Lover of Leaving
I’ve been getting really into the 1200s Persian poet Rumi lately. Here’s a favorite poem:
Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving
It doesn’t matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow
A thousand times.
Come, yet again, come, come.
